Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of remarkablesop.com (the “Service”), operated by RemarkableSOP (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
RemarkableSOP produces first drafts of admission and scholarship essays (personal statements, statements of purpose, motivation letters, scholarship essays, and instruction-specific essays) from the information you provide, using AI. A draft is a starting point. You are expected to review, fact-check, edit, and personalise it before submitting it anywhere.
2. No guarantee of admission or funding
We do not guarantee that any essay will result in admission, a scholarship, an interview, or any particular outcome. Admissions and funding decisions depend on your full application and each institution’s own criteria, which are outside our control.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about yourself. Do not misrepresent your background, qualifications, or achievements.
- Use the drafts honestly and in line with the rules of the institutions and programmes you apply to. You are solely responsible for how you use any output, including compliance with academic-integrity and application-declaration rules.
- Do not use the Service to produce content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or resell it without our written permission.
- Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Accounts
You need an account (via Google or email and password) to generate and save essays. You must be at least 16. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
5. Payment
- You buy essay credits. One credit writes one essay. Credits are bought once, there is no subscription, and nothing renews.
- A single credit costs GH₵79. You can also buy a Multi-Essay Pack: 3 credits for GH₵169 or 5 credits for GH₵249. A pack writes your first essay straight away and saves the remaining credits against your email address.
- Unused credits do not expire. To spend one, enter your email address and the 4-digit access code you created when you bought. Keep that code to yourself: anyone who has it can open your essays. If you forget it, you can reset it by email.
- You may write up to two free previews before paying, so you can judge the writing before you spend anything.
- Payments are processed by a licensed Ghanaian payment provider. You can pay by Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AT) or by card. We never see or store your card number, PIN or wallet credentials.
- Your essay is written as soon as your payment is confirmed, and a link to it is emailed to you.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Ownership of essays
As between you and us, you own the essay drafts generated for you and may use and edit them freely. You are responsible for the final version you submit. We may retain copies to provide the Service (your “My Essays” history) and, in anonymised or aggregated form, to improve quality and prevent repetition.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and that output will be accurate, complete, or free of errors.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost admission, lost funding, or lost opportunity.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
